Overview
OneUpOneDown is an AI-powered platform that matches professional women into 1-on-1, near-peer mentorships. I joined in 2019 as a mentee. My mentor, Natalie Robinson, became my co-founder, and I have been CTO since December 2019.
Our vision: make mentorship accessible to women globally. Mentorship made simple.
What I build
- The matching. A recommendation system, not a directory. It matches on the problem a mentee wants to solve, the right distance in experience (one step ahead, not ten), and real availability across time zones.
- The framework. Short, structured mentorships: three months, four one-to-one meetings, then a new match.
- The platform. Everything a programme needs to run itself: matching, communication, resources and reporting, for mentors, mentees and the organisations behind them.
- Industry pools. Dedicated matching pools for organisations and communities, from tech and gaming to motorsport, climate and Web3.
